Broken Car? We'll Get You Paid

We fix it, help you sell it, and take our cut from the sale — not from your wallet.

No upfront repair bill — paid from proceeds

The Problem

The Broken-Car Trap

It's a common Peninsula story: a car dies, the repair costs more than you have on hand, and suddenly you own a lawn ornament. You can't sell it for anything close to fair value — buyers smell a non-runner and offer scrap money. You can't fix it without cash you don't want to spend on a car you're done with. So it sits, losing value in the rain, until a tow-away "cash for cars" outfit gives you $500 for something that would be worth $5,000 running.

Fix & Flip exists for exactly this trap. We repair the car, help you sell it as a running, honest vehicle, and take our repair costs and fee out of the sale proceeds. You pay nothing up front. The difference between scrap price and running price is usually far more than the repair — and that difference goes mostly to you.

Every deal is agreed in writing before a wrench turns: what we'll repair, what it will cost, what the target sale range is, and how the proceeds split. No surprises — the same transparent pricing we publish for everything else.

How It Works, Start To Finish

  1. Tell us about the car via the estimate form — year, make, model, what happened, and where it's sitting.
  2. We evaluate it where it sits, just like a mobile diagnostic: what's actually wrong, what the repair costs, and what the car is realistically worth fixed.
  3. We agree on the deal. If the numbers work for both of us, we put the terms in writing. If they don't — if the car isn't worth fixing — we tell you that honestly and you've lost nothing.
  4. We do the repairs, usually right where the car is parked.
  5. We help sell it: honest listing, real photos, a mechanic on hand to answer buyer questions — which is exactly what makes buyers pay running-car money.
  6. The sale pays everyone. Repair costs and our fee come out of the proceeds; the remainder is yours.
A running car sold by a mechanic, with the recent work documented, is the easiest sale in the used-car world. Buyers pay for confidence — that's the value Fix & Flip creates.

Good Candidates (And Honest Passes)

Fix & Flip works when the gap between as-is value and repaired value is comfortably bigger than the repair. Good candidates look like:

And we'll pass — and tell you why — when the car needs more than it will ever be worth: structural rust, a blown engine in a low-value model, or a title problem no repair can fix. In some of those cases a straight diagnostic to document condition for an as-is sale is the better play, and we'll say so.

Why Trust Us With This

Our whole business is built on published rates and straight answers — a repair-and-resale arrangement only works with a mechanic who shows the math. We're Peninsula-based, we specialize in the older vehicles where the value gap is biggest, and our incentive in a Fix & Flip points the same direction as yours: the better the car sells, the better everyone does.
