The Specialty

Classic Cars Aren't A Sideline. They're The Point.

25 years or older? You've found the Peninsula's specialist — and we come to the car.

Why A Specialist

Old Cars Speak A Different Language

Take a classic to a general shop and watch the estimate grow. It's not malice — it's unfamiliarity billed by the hour. A tech raised on scan tools meets a carburetor, a points distributor, or a 40-year-old wiring harness, and every step takes three times as long, at your expense. Worse, the modern reflex — replace the module — fails completely when the module hasn't been manufactured since 1979. Old cars need diagnosis by understanding, and repair by rebuild-over-replace judgment.

That's the entire premise of this business. We work on vehicles 25 years and older as the specialty, not the exception — and because we're mobile, your classic never rides a flatbed or sleeps in a strange lot to get that expertise. The shop comes to the barn, the carport, or the driveway where the legend lives.

What Classic Service Looks Like Here

The Peninsula is quietly full of great old machines — Port Townsend alone harbors more classics per capita than anywhere west of Seattle. Somebody should be taking proper care of them, at their own homes. That's us.

Same Transparent Rates

Classic work bills exactly like everything else we do: published rates — $125 diagnostics + $1.50/mile, $125–135/hr labor — with estimates approved before work starts. No "vintage surcharge," no mystery hours. Old cars get charged for the time they take, and our specialty means they take us less of it.
